Doing what we can to keep our patients safe and healthy has always been the number one priority in our dental practice, but with all the changes in the world since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic this has become even more of a focus than it was before.
At this time we want to inform you that as your healthcare provider, our entire staff has been trained and knows the proper procedures and protocol for sterilization and disinfection. This has always been a requirement for any staff member onboarded into our dental practice.
Since the start of the pandemic, we have implemented a number of changes that are based on guidelines from organizations such as the ADA, CDC, OSHA, and others. These changes include:
-Doing a careful and thorough screening of any person who enters our dental office
-Requiring masks be worn by everyone in the dental office, unless they are in the dental chair being treated
-Temporarily minimizing the use of our waiting room. We text patients when their treatment room is ready.
-Installing multiple air purifiers throughout the office that filter the air 5 times per hour.
-Using Releaf brand aerosol reducing suction tips and DryShield aerosol reducing mouthpieces on any aerosol producing procedure.
-Carefully planning our schedules to minimize patient to patient interaction.
Most importantly, we want you to know that we are here for you, thinking of you, and want you to feel welcomed and safe at any of your appointments
