I love coming to this practice because it’s so comfortable and there’s always just a warm greeting in the beginning, so it’s nice to just walk in and be there and ready because they’re always prepared. It’s just welcoming. Then next time in the future, I would want to come back because of how welcoming it was. Dr. Vick’s personality is so friendly and it’s welcoming. It’s like a family friend, kind of, how he interacts every single time. It’s like a family friend catching up. It’s like, oh, how was your day? It was good. And just simple questions like that. I would recommend this practice because of the tiny manner that they have with the dental cleaning and other dental services that they provide. They take the time to care for you. So after they kept repeating and repeating to call back and say, “Are you good? Is everything okay?” And if there was, then they would have me come in and they would fix it.

When I come to Dr. Vick’s office, it is actually a little bit of an escape for my day. Everybody’s really nice here, and I have a stressful job. I’ve never had a scheduling hiccup. I’ve never had a communication problem with staff here. I’ve never even had an awkward exchange. You know what I’m saying? Everybody’s just been really nice, pleasant, and it always feels like there’s a little bit of time to ask you how your day is going. And Dr. Vick is, first of all, he’s a family man, and so always got a smile on his face, always asking patients how we’re doing. And when you’re coming to the dentist, I think you probably want a happy dentist. And Dr. Vick’s a happy person. He’s got a really gentle hand too. That’s one of the first things I noticed when I started coming. He’s a gentle, gentle guy.
When you come as a patient, you feel like you’re in really great hands. And that didn’t take long. Actually, that didn’t take very long. Probably within the first session or two, I came here. I knew I was in really great hands by the whole staff. I was here eight years ago, new with my wife, and she did a lot of research looking for the right dentist for us. And we knew that this was going to be great for my wife and I. And then we were blessed to have kids. And so we’ve brought our kids to the practice too, and it’s been wonderful. If you’re looking for a practice for your whole family and a staff that’s going to take care of everybody, Dr. Vick’s practice is wonderful. It’s been great for us for eight years.

Yeah, there’s been a few times over the years where I’ve wanted to inquire about one service or one aspect of Dr. Vick’s practice or another. And every time they’re really great about educating me on what I’m asking about and then what they can do to help. And so a few weeks ago, I was here after a cleaning and I was inquiring about whitening services and I’m getting a little older and I’ve noticed that my teeth aren’t as white as they used to be. And so I met with Mary for like 20 minutes. She answered all my questions. And we talked about price, we talked about options. We talked about payment options. We talked about the whole process and how it would work and what I can expect all through the whole way. And the whole time I was here for 20 minutes, I got all of my questions answered. I paid, I made my appointment for the following week, which went perfectly great. And now I’m doing a full-blown whitening service. And they made it easy and they answered all my questions from the beginning, and it wasn’t stressful at all. I made that decision very quickly. It was nice.

I’ve done one in-office session with Dr. Vick, and it was easy. I think I was here for a little over an hour. And it’s comfortable here. I mean, the office staff and the office itself, it’s comfortable here, and they know how to take good care of us. So the take home kit was really self-explanatory honestly, but comes with instructions, instructional videos. Dr. Vick has a way of scanning the inside of your mouth. You don’t have to do any moldings. It’s a digital scan and you get perfect trays, perfect fitting trays. So they’re really comfortable. So now I am at home, whitening is not really a chore. I fill the trays, I set my trays and I can watch a movie for a couple hours or just go to bed and it’s comfortable. I’m really glad I asked. I’m glad I asked the staff about whitening services and it was affordable. It was something that I’ve known I’ve wanted to do. You can go to the store and get whitening strips and you can do that and they work okay. But I knew that I wanted to take a little bit, just I wanted to know something a little bit more aggressive, and I wanted to get a little further down the road than a couple of weeks of whitening strips over the counter could do for me. And so I trusted the staff and they walked me through the process and it’s been the right decision.

I moved to the Central Valley eight years ago. I moved to Fresno with my wife, and we weren’t from here. We were starting everything. All I had here was my job. And so my wife did a lot of research looking for the right dental practice for us. My wife’s mother was a registered dental assistant for 40 years, and she’s worked for many different practices, many great dentists all over Southern California. And over the years we’ve been a little bit spoiled by some practices. And so I think we were pretty picky with the first appointment. We knew like, oh, this practice has…they got it together. My wife and I knew we were in good hands. Then we were blessed enough to have kids. And all through kind of the baby years, we were still coming and everything’s been successful. But before you knew it, it was time for my little ones to see the dentist.
So we brought ’em in and my kids might’ve been nervous to come to the dentist maybe, but not after they came. The staff was great with the kids on both of their appointments. First ones, they had a lot of fun and they were excited to tell me about it when I got home from work. The next thing I know, my mother-in-law was coming in and getting her teeth cleaned, and she’s fallen in love with this practice. She told me if she was younger, she wish she could come work here. Dr. Vick and his whole staff, they’ve become kind of like friends. Dr. Vick’s really well reviewed for good reason. And so you can take my word for it, but you can take lots of others too. So…
Tonya: I’ve been to several dentists over my life and he’s just been the most gentle one that I’ve ever been to. Made me feel so comfortable. They’re all so friendly and kind, and Dr. Vick is just so gentle. They always make you feel so comfortable when you come in. You’re never nervous. I mean, in my procedure I was nervous a few times, but they always made me feel so warm and loving. It’s more like friend and family here than, you know, just going to a dentist and having work done and then sent home. And we all get to know each other and talk about family and stuff every time. Dr. Vick’s great about always asking how your day was, or you know, he knows so much about my family and same thing with his too, so that’s awesome. He just always, you know, takes his time to talk to you and see how you’re doing.
Him being so gentle with you too, and then explaining everything, what’s going to happen. And his personality’s bubbly and always laughs. And if he feels that you’re uncomfortable, he’ll stop for a second and give you a break. The experience with him, I think my procedure took a little longer than what we expected. That’s why I said he went above and beyond for me. He just wanted to make sure that I was happy and did everything he could to get to this point. And here we are. And all the staff, even my hygienist, Leslie, she’s awesome and gentle. All the girls are great. I just love it here.
Linsey: We love coming here. My whole family comes here. I got started with Dr. Vick a long time ago and he’s just very personable. But I would say probably what really made an impression on me was that I have a very low tolerance for pain, and he’s always made me feel really comfortable about that. Was concerned because where I was before, they kind of made it seem like maybe I wasn’t feeling the pain that I was sometimes when they were operating, filling cavities and things like that. And Dr. Vick always makes sure that I’m pain-free and comfortable, and so I really appreciate that. They seem to be kind of on the cutting edge of things. I needed a crown done. And I was really impressed that Dr. Vick could do the crown in the office and I didn’t have to be bothered with a temporary crown. It was really nice that he seems like he’s just always on the cutting edge. Dentists and hygienists here are really gentle when they’re cleaning teeth. When I’m having any kind of fillings done or even crowns, they listen to you. It’s very nice that you’re able to stop them if you need to, and they’re very sensitive to how you’re feeling during your visit.
Kennedi: Firstly, I was adopted, so I didn’t get the necessary nutrients for my bones, for my teeth. So my teeth weren’t like good and they didn’t look good. So I got the dentures, which helped me with my self-care and self-esteem. I’m more of a happy person now, because I’m not afraid to smile, because before I would be like, oh, I don’t want to smile because my teeth look bad. But after this surgery, I think I smile way more than like I used to and I’m more happy. And a lot of people can sense that. Having the ability to smile is so important to me because, as I said before, I was shy. I was timid. But now I’m not. I’m like more open. So when strangers like smile at me. I like to smile back because I want to like reciprocate the friendliness that people give me because of the smile I have now.
So we did it in different parts, but throughout it I was taken care of. And like they would ask questions throughout, if I was okay. I always saw the world as everyone’s perfect. Everyone has their life straight. And then once I got it, I was like, oh, I can see what people meant by like people love smiling because they’re happy. Because I got to experience that now, because I wasn’t shy or insecure about my teeth. I would recommend this practice because of how time-sensitive they care. And with that, they’ll do whatever you need for you to succeed in life with your, rather that be your smile or just like being healthy.
The moment you walk in the door, it is just a warm place to come into. Everyone is so inviting and makes you feel just welcome. It is definitely a family place that you feel that you can trust the services that you’re provided, and you know that you’re going to get an amazing service from everyone in the office. I think that this office sets themselves apart because they’re professional from every step of the way. From the front desk to the assistants to Dr. Vick, you don’t feel as though the ball’s been dropped anywhere along the way, and the communication is amazing.
Dr. Vick is extremely personable. You don’t feel as though you can’t speak with him and you can’t explain how you’re feeling about things that maybe are a concern to you. And he’s just a very, very kind man. I have been coming to this practice for 15 plus years. My children come here, my husband comes here, extended family and friends, and quality is just amazing. It’s outstanding. And I think that’s extremely hard to find in this day and age in a lot of different industries, but especially when it comes to cosmetic and in your mouth. You know that you can trust the service that they provide. And it’s a scary thing to go into a new office if you’ve got any fears or anything like that, or past experiences. Just the environment, the perfectionism, they listen and the quality of care is just, it’s outstanding.
So I got started seeing Dr. Vick before I had kids, and then as my family grew and I was looking for needs for the kids, he mentioned that he saw children too. So we came in. My oldest son, he’s got a pretty low pain tolerance, and Dr. Vick, I would say it’s maybe because of who he is, but also because he has children of his own and he knows what to expect from kids. It’s really nice that he’s patient with them.
My son had to have some teeth extracted recently. Made him comfortable. He numbed him up a little bit to take them out. He didn’t need a whole lot of numbing, but he wanted to make him comfortable, and so it was actually a really nice experience for him. It’s really nice that they work to schedule us together. Usually, my husband will bring one of the kids in for his appointment and that’s convenient, and then I’ll bring somebody in with mine.
It also helps with scheduling for school because we have teachers that don’t want them missing a lot of school, and my son’s in junior high now, and so it gets a little difficult when it’s always the same period that he’s missing. So they’re very good about helping schedule at different times and around what’s best for us. This is the kind of practice that you can bring the whole family to. It’s really convenient because they are caring towards kids, patient with them, great with adults. They connect with any member of the family, and it’s good for everyone. We really feel like we’ve found a home at this practice.
I’ve had a lot of dental issues over my entire life. I had to have a bone graft for my whole upper jaw just to even get to this point. And I first came here, moved back to the area, and so he was the first dentist that I came to see. And then after that is when things started happening. He helped me a lot and we had several visits.
After the bone grafting was done, which that was for surgeries, I started coming in and basically, I was having to get fitted for this to get it to where I was comfortable and where it fitted comfortable. And that’s where he was great that he worked with me constantly scheduling appointments. Sometimes I was coming in every week, sometimes it would be three weeks, once a month. He did everything to make me happy and just take the first step, come in here and get familiar with everybody and you’ll see how comfortable they’ll make you. Everybody’s going to be nervous, who likes to come to the dentist, but I think once they’re here, they’ll be very happy and proud of their decision to come here and meet Dr. Vick and his team.
I started coming here as my mom came here and I had a great experience. So as I had my own family and I have two children and a husband, it just seemed as though we would naturally and organically just come here as well. The kids have had an amazing experience as my husband and just there has never been an issue of any kind with any of the treatments that we’ve had, any of the communication that we’ve had. It’s just something that is very hard to come by in this day and age.
I feel that everyone here definitely tries to work with your schedule. They are willing to try and figure out a way to maneuver through your life to make it work in terms of scheduling, which can be very difficult, especially as a mother and kids running around all over the place and with a smile and always very nice and accommodating on the phone and in person, and that’s huge. That’s huge. This practice definitely knows who you are and the moment you walk in, they’re aware of who you are. They’re asking you how you’re doing, your family’s doing, and I think that’s so important to be able to have that and to gain that trust, especially if you’re going to be visiting a new practice and trusting them with the service that they provide.
