I have been a patient at Dr Vick’s office for 35 + years ( Dr Stagis prior to Dr Vick). We moved out of state and I can’t imagine going to any other dental office! His office is immaculately clean, organized, professional and perfect in every way. Jenny cleaned my teeth and still two days later still feel squeaky clean! Her cleaning was so thorough, and covered more than just teeth cleaning. She checked my lymph nodes and all areas for anything unusual. I felt so confident with Dr Vick and his oral exam. The average dental crown or bridge will last for about five to seven years. However, your restoration may give you great performance for 10 years or longer if you maintain good oral hygiene and avoid eating foods that compromise it. We’ll be happy to provide instructions on keeping your crown or bridge fully functional for as long as possible.
Dental crowns and bridges can be used in a wide variety of ways to restore damaged and missing teeth. We can use a single crown for repairing a tooth or, with a dental implant, replacing a missing tooth. A bridge is designed to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring to either your other teeth or dental implants.
Conventional bridges are anchored to dental crowns that your dentist places on the teeth surrounding the gap left by missing teeth. You may also have the option of an implant-supported bridge. With that option, we attach crowns to dental implants instead of your teeth. Using implants eliminates the need to modify healthy tooth structure.
